we stayed 1 night after we had been to a wedding,we had arranged a late check in, this went very smoothly no issues at all and the communication from hotel to me was very efficient ,the room was spotless and had plenty of room , breakfast in the morning was lovely and the staff were very attentive..the location of the hotel is fabulous right next to the train station but also close to all shops and pubs

We were so lucky to find this hotel particularly as our booked accommodation was cancelled by the hosts on the day of our stay. It was still being renovated so no bar or restaurant but will be lovely when complete. Excellent location right next to the Piece Hall with discounted parking across the street and close to bars and restaurants

What we really liked about the property was the convenience of free parking, the fast and reliable Wi-Fi, and the excellent customer service. The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of the city centre, with everything just a short walk away. Although the building is older, it has a charming character and is kept very clean and tidy. The rooms are comfortable and cozy, offering a relaxing space to unwind after a long day. It’s great value for money, with thoughtful amenities that enhanced our stay. Overall, a welcoming and pleasant place that we’d be happy to return to. Highly recommended for both short and long stays.

Clean and tidy hotel, the price was reflective of the amenities. No frills hotel, it is functional and comfy and was in a good location to walk to nearby bars and restaurants. I would say it is good value for money and had no complaints . The reason I gave an 8 rating was due to the shower being a little difficult to set the temperature as it was controlled by the taps on the bath so balancing hot and cold took a few mins. Also, (fussy comment, I know) only 1 plug by one side of the bed which is ok but with multiple items to charge (watch and 2 phones) it meant charging them on the desk the other side of the room. To be fair, it is a nice hotel, staff are friendly and the facilities are clean and tidy so for a night or two I would stay again for access to locations on a night out.

Brilliant Services, Michael who served us on arrival and breakfast were absolutely professional, polite, informative & patient with us. The next time we come to Halifax we'll book The Imperial Crown Hotel again. Breakfast were included, so it was most excellent price value.. Fantastic!!! My Husband had the eggs bendnidict and I had the pancake, bacon & maple syrup.

The hotel far exceeded our expectations. It was excellent value for the price we paid. The hotel is a work in progress and is being renovated bit by bit. I am sure that It will be completed to a high standard. Our room was excellent as was the bed linen and towels. The staff were efficient and friendly, giving us much advice about the area. The location, for us, was really very good. Everything was within easy reach. We did not eat at the hotel but the dining room looked lovely. We are very pleased we stayed there.

Very friendly reception staff and very quick check in ( no need to pay £100 as other have said?) The room was clean, and the bed was so comfy! Great refreshments in the room, cans, water, biscuits, chocolate bars 11am checkout is standard I believe also. Perfect location for the Piece hall ( 1 minute walk!) £5 to park your car for 24 hours - Great value

Comfy bed and the complimentary items were much appreciated. The plug in the bathroom was brilliant and we have since bought one for our own. The breakfast was freshly cooked.
